ASQ provides a step-wise tool to help you compose your query. Once the target server has been selected, the user can select from the list of projects, and specify the exact parameters for their search.
AQL is an ASQ query expression language in JSON syntax which allows expression of complex queries in a text format. The benefits of AQL include sharing and archiving outside of the ASQ platform. ASQ also offers a REST interface which is equipped to process AQL strings; as a result, an external script could be set up to periodically query ASQ using a set of AQL strings.
